Performance - Concept - Choreography: IIOANNIS KAROUNIS (2016 - 2023)
I have the opportunity to undergo a challenge that feels like I am both provoking and seeking it, something that I have been doing since I was very young. The time has come to pit my mind and body against each other and balance them on the scale of existence, to let my emotions and excitement lead me on a unique and unprecedented journey, free from assumptions and predictions. It's a journey where the only known elements are that the vehicle and the passenger are me. The destination is the realization of the present moment, where the past and the future act simultaneously, inviting me to dance with memories and desires where everything is possible. I am a sensor of the universe. I am a transmitter and receiver without borders, pierced by my boundless limits.
