Performance - Concept: Ioannis Karounis & Saltator Physical Dance Group (2012 - 2022)

By collecting elements from the past and bringing them to the present, we create a contemporary traditional celebration. The performance explores and at the same time highlights the beauty and simplicity of tradition. The dancers are in a perfect connection and harmony with the musicians in a mutual relationship built by a series of steps and notes. The steps of the traditional dance inspire and give the spark to the movements of this performance. The audience has the opportunity to participate in the performance in the end and experience a traditional celebration.
